Sara Alvord from A Flavor Journal joins us to create a custom cocktail in honor of the Champion of them all Joe Louis. Brand Manager of Joe Louis Bourbon, Tonya Cole, joins us as well as we mix up the Joe Louis Bourbon Brown Sugar Bomber.  

Joe Louis Bourbon Brown Sugar Bomber

2 oz. Joe Louis Bourbon1 oz. Brown Sugar Syrup (equal parts brown sugar and super hot water - I did 1/4 cup of each, combined them in a jar, and shook it until they combined!)
½ oz. fresh Orange juice
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
2 dashes Orange bitters
2 dashes angostura bitters


Combine everything in a cocktail shaker and fill halfway with ice. Shake vigorously, then strain over a giant ice cube in a chilled glass.
