What is love? We say that word so often but do we truly understand what it means? There is a type of love among human relationships but does that reflect the love God meant for us? Let’s look at the meaning of love through God’s eyes and understand practical ways to model his love. 

What does the term salvation truly mean? It is a word used often but do we truly take the time to grasp what all it entails? Let's unpack it together and gain a deeper understanding of how faith alone brings us into a relationship with God.Thus producing freedom and obedience as fruits of our salvation, not requirements. Let’s remember the incredible freedom that comes from knowing it’s Christ who lives through us and the difference between working from the gift rather than for it. What do we do when our expectations of God don’t line up with our experience? Oftentimes pain makes us focus on what God isn’t doing, instead of what He is doing. I challenge us to trust God’s plan, even when life doesn’t make sense. Let’s learn how to hold on through the struggle, shift our perspective, and find hope not in our circumstances, but in Christ alone. We sometimes can find ourselves on one of two sides. On one side viewing God solely through the lens of justice, emphasizing the punishment for sin. Then on the other side, emphasizing a type of love that views everything as acceptable and without consequence. However, both views fall short of the whole truth. True justice and love is found when we direct our eyes towards the cross where there is the perfect balance between the two.
