Joe's Disc Golf Podcast

On this episode I go over the latest video and some changes to Joe's Disc Golf YouTube channel and talk a little bit about the Madison Walker MVP Discs situation that popped up on Facebook this week. And check out the replay of my live reaction to the DGPT All-Star draft. The FPO side was far more entertaining than the MPO side.

How many Europeans will come over for the 2022 DGPT season? Well the way things are shaping up it looks like several top MPO and FPO disc golfers. On top of that I talk about a little Reddit drama and some sad news about the Champions Cup tickets. Tune in to the end of the show to hear a special interview with a great guest!

Well, we finally know where Catrina Allen is going for the 2022 season! We do not have any contract details at this time but if we believe Drew Gibson, she's getting what she deserves. I also decided to do a mock draft for the DGPT All Star weekend. Let me know what you think and who you think will end up on the the teams! Have a great weekend!

So many things to talk about in this episode. I go over the 2 new PDGA medical subcommittees. The first is the subcommittee on performance enhancing substances and the other is gender based based divisions. I also give you my predictions for who I think will finish the 2022 DGPT season in 11th-20th places for tour points standings. I want to emphasize that this is not world rankings or PDGA points ranking but the DGPT points standing at the end of the season before the playoffs start. And I can't forget to mention that I also talk about the new Eagles putter, midrange, and drive by Sunny Sports Co. LTD.

Can you believe we are only a month away from the DGPT All-Star Weekend and Catrina Allen is still without a sponsor? We finally learned where Chris Dickerson has landed: Discraft. Hailey King has moved to Innova as well. Things are still a little crazy here in the off-season!

So many changes have happened in the last week. Dynamic Discs announces their big player contracts as Kona Panis from Innova and Rick Wysocki from Innova. Dynamic Discs also snagged Valerie Mandujano and Mason Ford from Innova. Dynamic Discs has positioned themselves well for the 2022 season.

The 2023 Majors locations have been announced and some new tax changes for those of you who accept cash at tournaments. So much to talk about in so little time.

Ricky Wysocki, Valerie Mandujuano, and Mason Ford all have one thing in common....they've left Innova.

Managed to fix the mic issue from the last episode. Not much going on in disc golf this week with the holidays but January is going to be insane. Call it a hunch.

I want to apologize for the audio. My mic was on the fritz and didn't  know until after recording was done. I will have it fixed before the next  episode!

Another successful and packed show completed and uploaded. Thank you all for listening and watching!

Lot's of stuff happening in this episode! Unless you've been living under a rock, you probably heard that the Disc Golf Network had a few technical issues in the USDGC broadcast. "We are gathering data that allows us to identify accounts that saw issues during the final holes and playoff. Therefore, please email [email protected] so we can understand and verify the issues of your viewing experience." Throw Pink crown their inaugural champion this past weekend. It was an exciting time with lots of ups and downs. Paige Pierce's tournament had a few ups and lots of downs. We discuss it all!
