The poll surveyed 895 likely voters for the election questions, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.21 percentage points.

175 HOUSE DEMOCRATS CHALLENGE THE ILHAN OMAR INVESTIGATION

A group of 175 House Democrats, led by Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, is calling on the Trump administration to stop what they describe as a politically motivated investigation of Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

The lawmakers sent a letter to federal officials criticizing the October 12 search of Omar's Washington, D.C., home and raising concerns about investigative actions so close to an election.

Omar has denied allegations of immigration fraud.

The lawmakers say the investigation raises questions about the use of federal law enforcement against political opponents. Supporters of the investigation argue that credible allegations should be examined regardless of a person's elected position.

An Atlanta rapper who flaunted private jets, luxury cars and stacks of cash is now facing federal charges in an alleged multimillion-dollar food stamp fraud scheme. And he's just one of the defendants caught up in a nationwide crackdown on fraud involving taxpayer-funded benefits.

Mercedes Reshard New, known online as Shawty Dred, has been indicted on 63 federal counts involving alleged SNAP fraud, mail fraud, identity theft and illegal transactions with access devices.

Federal prosecutors accuse him of obtaining more than $4 million in food assistance benefits through hundreds of fraudulent accounts between 2020 and 2026.

The charges come as the Trump administration announces a nationwide enforcement initiative targeting tens of millions of dollars in alleged fraud involving federal nutrition and agricultural programs.

The new Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program, known as WHIP, is designed to encourage ordinary Americans to report suspected fraud involving federal government programs.

Under the initiative, eligible whistleblowers could receive rewards of up to $30,000 when their information leads to qualifying federal fraud enforcement actions.

The Department of Justice will administer the program, with funding from the Treasury Department.

NEW REPORT: Could DNA evidence play a role in the federal investigation involving Congresswoman Ilhan Omar? And what would investigators have to prove?

The New York Post reports that federal prosecutors are examining DNA evidence as part of an investigation into longstanding allegations that Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar married her biological brother in 2009 to help him obtain immigration benefits.

The report cites unnamed sources familiar with the investigation, but the alleged sibling relationship and immigration fraud have not been proven. The nature and significance of the reported DNA evidence have not been publicly established.

Omar has repeatedly denied wrongdoing and has described the investigation as politically motivated.

We'll examine the latest reporting, the questions surrounding the alleged evidence, and what would be required for federal prosecutors to bring a case.

DOJ CHARGES 28 FOREIGN NATIONALS IN CALIFORNIA ELECTION CASES

The Justice Department announced charges against 28 lawful permanent residents accused of illegally registering to vote in U.S. elections.

Federal agents arrested 11 of those defendants Monday as part of an initiative called Operation Protect the Vote.

According to prosecutors, most of the defendants allegedly cast ballots in elections despite not being U.S. citizens.

Green-card holders can legally live and work in the United States, but they are not eligible to vote in federal elections.

We'll look at the charges, the government's evidence and what these cases tell us about election enforcement as the November 3 midterms approach.

UNITED AIRLINES CEO CALLS FOR NEAR-100% INHERITANCE TAX

United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby is generating controversy after calling for a national wealth tax and inheritance taxes approaching 100% for certain estates.

Kirby argues that growing wealth inequality threatens American society and says a nationwide tax would prevent wealthy individuals from avoiding state taxes simply by moving.

But critics argue that taxing inherited wealth at such high rates could discourage saving and investment, create problems for family-owned businesses and undermine the ability to pass assets to the next generation.

Supporters of higher estate taxes argue they could reduce concentrated inherited wealth and help fund public priorities.

Kirby did not specify the estate value at which his proposed near-100% tax would apply.

We'll discuss his remarks, the difference between existing estate taxes and his proposal, and the larger debate over how much of a family's accumulated wealth should be passed on to future generations.

SC GOP CHAIRMAN DREW MCKISSICK JOINS THE SHOW

South Carolina Republican Party Chairman Drew McKissick joins us to discuss the start of early voting, the November 3 general election and President Donald Trump's return to the Upstate this week.

President Trump is scheduled to hold a midterm rally Wednesday, October 21, at the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Pendleton, near Clemson University.

Doors are scheduled to open at 3:30 p.m., with presidential remarks beginning at 7 p.m.

We'll discuss what the visit means for South Carolina's political landscape, the issues shaping the state's races and the importance of understanding where, when and how to vote.

COULD ILHAN OMAR BE DEPORTED? Tom Homan says it's possible if federal investigators prove immigration fraud—and the controversy surrounding the Minnesota congresswoman continues to grow.

Following last week's Homeland Security search of Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington, D.C., residence, White House border czar Tom Homan is discussing the possibility of denaturalization and deportation.

Investigators are examining allegations involving immigration paperwork and whether Omar's age was accurately represented when her family obtained U.S. citizenship.

Homan says anyone who committed immigration fraud should be held accountable under the law, including elected officials.

But there's an important distinction: Omar has not been found guilty of immigration fraud, and losing U.S. citizenship would require a legal process.

Omar denies wrongdoing and says the investigation is politically motivated.

So what would federal investigators have to prove? Can a naturalized American citizen lose citizenship decades later? And what legal protections would apply?

We'll examine Homan's comments, the allegations, Omar's response and the legal questions surrounding the investigation.

Here are the important dates and details:

Early voting: October 19–31

Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday

Closed Sunday, October 25

Election Day: Tuesday, November 3

Election Day polling hours: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Any registered South Carolina voter can vote early at an authorized early voting center in their county without providing a special reason.
