Today we read about the actual "Exodus" as we see God deliver His people from slavery and destroys Egypt's army in the process. Poor Pharoah... (said no one ever  :)

Today we encounter the final plaque and stand-off between Moses and Pharoah. A sad day for Egypt.

On today's show, we continue to discuss the plaques of Egypt in chapters 9-10 and wonder at the sovereign design at work in these events. Also, Paula calls me out on saying she woke up looking like a telly-tubby who had been on a month-long crack binge. 

In today's episode, we review chapters 6-8 in Exodus and begin digging into these plagues sent by God due to Pharoh's hard heart. We also learn the recipe for bullfrog pie :)

Today we witness the first encounter of Moses and Pharaoh. God's children hit punched early in this fight, but it far from over. Also, Paula is a big bowl full of woo woo... 

Today we cover the first three chapters of Exodus including the birth of Moses. We leave off with the question, "What did God teach Moses all those years in Midian to prepare him for the standoff with Pharaoh ?"

After 7 weeks of study, in this episode we conclude the book Genesis by reading of the deaths of both Jacob and Joseph. We also find the characteristic of Jacob's children that live on in the tribes of a future Isreal. Good stuff today... 

Today we read and discuss Jospeh unmasking himself to his brother and the touching reunion he has with his father. Many wonderful moments to experience in our text today- Gen 44-46. 

In this episode, we cover Genesis chapters 42-43 and find Jospeph toying with his brothers who sold him into slavery.  The stakes are emotionally high for Jacob.

In this episode (Easter edition), we find Joseph in prison and then remarkably released and placed in a high position of authority over all Egypt. For music, we get to enjoy just enough of Keith Green's Easter song to keep us from getting sued :)
