#109: John Ballenger recently retired from serving as a Marine One Pilot, which is the helicopter responsible for flying the President of the United States around. 

Today John is an entrepreneur, Co-Owner of Aspire Development Group, and an Executive Consultant with his company 8:28 Ventures.

John grow up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and attended Oral Roberts University for college. Towards the end of his college career he felt a pull to leave the pursuit of business after school to become a military pilot. It wasn’t easy, but John persisted and eventually decided to fly helicopters in the Marine Corps. With over 20 years of flying experience John shares some of the most invaluable lessons he learned from training, flying, and serving as a Marine One pilot for both the Trump and Biden Administrations. 

On the show he also shares lessons such as the value of time, overcoming failure, taking the risk and trying, humility and being prepared, trust, brilliance in the basics, and much more.
