In today's episode, we are so lucky to have John Feinstein join us to talk about fatherhood and his latest book, "Raise a Fist, Take a Knee." It is a powerful book that addresses race issues and the illusion of progress in modern sports relating to the hiring of black coaches and leaders in the front office sports jobs.    John has published over 45 fiction and non-fiction books, in which I've read nearly 10 of them!  He is one of the best conversationalist style authors I've read, and I look forward to his fantastic work!

As you will hear in this episode, John has three kids (through two marriages) and talks about the power of always encouraging your kids.   As a dad who travels, he addresses the challenges with his schedule, including why time and being present is so important.  He also encourages his kids to read often and different subjects too!
