Recently DR. Boyce Watkins made trip to Ghana. While visiting Ghana he met with Ghanaian king to promote tourism for Ghana. He stated he want Negro Americans to come and invest in Ghana. Historically speaking Ghana haven’t been there for Negro Americans. The Ashanti kingdom especially king and Queen have made billions of dollars throughout the centuries selling Africans to the Arabs and European. Most of those Africans leaders doesn’t have our best interest at heart. They’re promoting their country so then can make millions of dollars in tourism. The average travel package to visit Ghana cost between 5,000 to 7,500 dollars per person. Going to Africa doesn’t benefit us spiritually and financially. It’s only benefit those Africans countries. Our focus should be on getting those 16,000,000 acres of land that Congress have taken away from those Negro farmers throughout the South and the Midwest. I have no resentment towards Dr. Boyce Watkins . However I want him to focus his energy more on investing and building our community throughout this country not Africa.
