Meredith Gaudreau gave birth to her third baby, son Carter Michael Gaudreau, on Tuesday, April 1. This seven months after his father, Johnny Gaudreau, was killed while biking alongside his NHL star brother Matthew. Their sister was to be married the next day. Stories like these always raise the hardest of faith questions. During this Easter season, it’s customary to remember the events that led to Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday. We know the facts of the story and the motive behind them: “God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
