Perhaps, though, the most haunting of all thoughts is the reality that we’ve let life slip away quickly, having neglected so many grand opportunities for advancing ourselves spiritually and for helping others. Oh, if we could but rescue some of those times.

As we arise each fresh morning, we could scarcely better start our day than to contemplate the brevity of time and the value of the day before us. 

My friends as we have learned a soul-winner is wise. Knowing the brevity of life his motivation to win the lost soul is two-fold.

There will be no injustice in God’s court; no one will get away with any crime against Him; God has seen and recorded in His “books” every single sin ever committed, and He will be completely just in pronouncing His sentence.

And you start to get tired of waiting and fighting. And again trusting God is no guarantee that life will get easier, but it is an assurance that you won’t have to do it alone.

Listen, friends, when we are intimidated at "The Lion's Roar" don't retreat from your problems because this will usually enhance the problem.

Being intimidated always precedes defeat. 

The real danger is trying to find a way out by your own means, escaping your dilemmas alone, trying to fly solo. It's at times like these that the choice we should be making is to "Be strong and courageous."

The Lord our God is immutable.

God is perfect in all His thoughts and trustworthy in all His ways. 

Unlike men, who often distort facts, twist the truth, and are easily tossed about like waves on the sea, God’s counsel is steadfast. 

His promises are sure, His Word is dependable, and His Truth lasts from one generation to another.

Sometimes we talk about a "God-shaped vacuum" inside the human heart. I believe there is also a "heaven-shaped vacuum," a sense that we were made for something more than this life. We were made to live forever somewhere. In a real sense we were made for heaven.

People that ‘stand’ are people who are completely relying on Jesus. They never even for a minute think that it’s their strength that will help them stand. This is important, otherwise, after the people welcome ‘pride’ they think that it’s their own strength that made them stand.

Kindness is more than an action when you interact with people. It’s how you present yourself amongst other people. The character that shines through you can be dressed in the posture of kindness.

So to answer the question I've learned that It’s actually incredibly simple. With God, everything is direct and straightforward, with no beating around the bush.

Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life so that you and your descendants might live! -
