Something I heard almost all of 2024 was the viewpoint that starting something new was equal to starting over, and starting over from zero.

As we move into the new year can we be done with this limiting belief?? 

I know we may not ever fully eliminate it from our own internal operating systems, but I will be the first to tell you starting over doesn't mean starting over.

I once heard someone say “Who you are will set you free” and I fully believe that.
 
 It has taken me a while to come to terms with this, but when you stop running from what sets you apart and instead embrace it, so much good can come into your life. Your unique advantage is what sets you apart.
 
 Chances are good your unique advantage has followed you throughout your life. We are the sum of our experiences, who we are now is because of what we experienced yesterday.

Every once in a while you receive a burst of inspiration that leads you to make a commitment in your life.

That happened to me over the course of traveling to, attending, and traveling from Mr Olympia 2024 and it led me to a new decision for the immediate future.

The Mr Olympia 2024 competition and expo took place in Las Vegas, Nevada October 10th through 13th. This is the premier fitness event of the year full of my ideal client both on the stage and at the expo, this is a room I wanted to be in.

I decided early on to go, then life happened and I almost did not go, but then at the last moment I remembered the commitment I made towards the end of 2023 to attend the events in 2024. 

I also remembered 2 phrases I heard this summer;

1. When I argue for my limitations, I get to keep them. - Gay Hendrix
2. Are you using fear of failing as an excuse to not take action? - Gary V

All of this led to my renewed sense I needed to go to Mr Olympia 2024, so I did. I made the trip to Las Vegas, went to the show, and came away a different person.

The FitExpo happens twice a year, first in Los Angeles in January and later again in Anaheim in August.

I am back from the FitExpo in Anaheim to share my experiences, my takeaways, and the gameplay moving forward.

VeeCon is at LA Live Aug 9th, 10th, & 11th.
TheFitExpo - Anaheim is at the Anaheim Convention Center Aug 17th & 18th.

You may have heard me speak in previous episodes how in 2023 I made the commitment to myself to attend the events in 2024. In this episode I share how I am prepping and discuss various aspects. The tickets, the locations, the speakers or special guests, and more.
