This is an interview with the three producers of the Northport One Act Play Festival. The producers Michael Casano, Stanley Katz, and Jo Ann Katz take us on a behind the scenes tour of the festival that features all original one act plays being performed for the very first time.
They share anecdotes, how the plays are vetted and cast, what the goals of the festivals are, and more!
This year marks the 12th year of the festival. All plays will be performed in person with strict covid regulations. All participants and audience must show proof of vaccination and must wear a mask.

Patrick has been a practicing NY attorney for nearly 40 years and is now in a private civil practice. He is currently President of Hardscrabble Theater. He has also run 3 other theater companies on Long Island, beginning at the tender age of 19, as well as acting in and doing most tech work in theater for 50 years. He has acted in approximately 100 productions from Fire Island to NYC and has directed dozens of productions as well.
Samantha Herrera was born in Queens, New York City, New York, USA. She is an actress and producer, known for the Marvel series Iron Fist (2017), Tales of a Shadowboxer (2018) and The Hour Glass (2017).
