Improved my dish setup slightly from the grill situation 😃
Several signals can be found.
You can see it doesn't take much movement to get a completely different set of signals.
I also did a full rotation in the end so you can see how things like obstacles and the sun affect the noise floor.

Attached the dish to the cctv camera rotor, seems to be handling the load well.
I didn't have a proper stand, and I had to elevate the thing, so I just used what was on hand,... a grill and some pallet wood.

This live stream was pretty representative of a typical random HF/VHF/UHF listening session...
Decoded some HFDL, POCSAG, PSK31, OLIVIA, RTTY, SSTV, and listened to some airband, EAM's, updated some gqrx bookmarks,... etc!
Used an Airspy with nooelec ham it up upconverter, and also an USRP2 with home-made upconverter by mixing in a signal generator signal.

Session 2! Lots of stuff to do!
To debug:
Trying to place lights in the scene - why is the light debug dot not showing?
More improvements needed on cockpit canopy close animations.
Features to implement:
Can we implement projectiles yet?
Can we make the buttons in the cockpit light up?
We'll see how far we get today... I'll probably end up getting distracted with some trivial random thing that has nothing to do with any of the above, so we'll see where this goes 😃

Trying this livestreaming thing for some live gamedev... let's see how it works out...
Continued session (after lunch) - so far we've fixed some keyboard IO stuff (transitioning to new ImGui io handling system) - and we're trying to get a cockpit computer into the mech cockpit - dealing with some positioning issues.
