Who are you becoming around the people you spend the most time with?
After one whirlwind week that took me from a convention in Nashville...to a cabin and campfire with some of my oldest childhood friends...I couldn't stop thinking about the different "rooms" we choose throughout our lives and how quietly they shape us.
Some people challenge us to dream bigger. Some remind us who we've always been. Some make our worlds bigger. And sometimes finding those people requires being brave enough to walk into a room where we don't know anyone yet.
In episode 10, I'm sharing stories about community, friendship, marriage, finding new people during new seasons, and the harder question we don't always ask ourselves: Who do other people become when they're around us?
Because I don't just want a long life. I want a full life...surrounded by people who laugh with me, challenge me, believe in me, and hopefully grow alongside me.
This week's Mic Drop:
Pay attention to the rooms you choose. The right people won't ask you to become someone else...they'll love you for who you are, challenge you to grow, and bring out more of the person you're capable of becoming.
