Jones and Keefe previewed the NFL Draft and who they like and dislike at the Safety position.

Jones and Keefe were joined by ESPN's NFL Draft analyst Field Yates to discuss next week's draft, the chances of the Patriots selecting LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell, and his latest big board.

The guys try to figure out what Mike Vrabel is all about. There are some clues as to who he is going to pick, but no one is really sure. Abdul Carter would probably be the best pick. Can Vrabel not handle big personalities? Will the Patriots pass over Abdul Carter? He had AJ Brown as a coach, so he can probably handle it. He also was the big personality on the Patriots. Vrabel can coach up a player who is not a great person off the field. The Patriots will definitely gamble on the talent. Did Vrabel tip his hand about Will Campbell? What are the trade down odds?

Bruins teases for later on in the show. There’s a lot wrong with how this season went. Bruins owner Charlie Jacobs sent a letter to fans. They have a press conference next week. Sorry, Greg. Back to the Patriots. How buried is Eliot Wolf’s opinion? Kind of like Jones’ opinion when his wife asks what he wants for dinner. Will Travis Hunter be able to withstand a full season of playing both ways?

Linebacker preview in the 2025 draft. The guys go through the five best linebackers eligible for the draft. Keefe discusses his pick outside the top ten, safe to say he is a big hoss. There are some old draft prospects that Jones likes. When does the Covid bonus year end? Is Mason Graham a fourth overall worthy selection? He is not a bust, but Keefe does not want him. That would not fit a need.

Scott McLaughlin joins the show. Should have brought the confetti to the studio today. The Bruins are fourth worst in the league! It is finally over. Scott says that it seems like the front office will remain in power. How long will the retool take? How much patience does Jacobs have? The front office is safe for now, but if they do not figure something out, everyone is in trouble. With a few tweaks, this could be a playoff team, but they are far off from being a playoff team. Mitch Marner would be the best possible addition in the offseason. Who are the best prospects in the draft? If they get the number one pick, the Bruins would have a lot of questions to ask.

This one will be a little more complicated. Keefe loves it only if Hunter and Abdul Carter are off the board. Jones is a hater. He hates the thought of picking Campbell at pick four. Does Vrabel agree? This will tear the fan base apart. Jeanty, Warren are among the names that Jones would take over him. Will he be a tackle or a guard?

Back to the Vrabel discussion in regards to who the Patriots will most likely draft.

Jones expects the Red Sox to win tonight and grab two out of three from the Rays. Bregman was fantastic last night. He will be out tonight for the birth of his second child. Is Devers going to play third? He probably will not. Probably Hamilton or Romy Gonzalez. Will Yoshida be in the lineup? Has Devers cooled off? Again? How much credit does Cora deserve for all of this? Not a lot of it, but credit to him for calling out the team after the game.

Celtics vs Magic discussion

Magic will be an easy matchup, but last year’s playoff run was way easier. No one in the east is really that great of a threat. There has been home issues, but in the playoffs, home issues will go away. Orlando can’t really score, but they can make it close. Cleveland will be a tough matchup in the ECF if they make it there. If Mitchell outplays Brown, then it will not be good for the Celtics. Jones goes over the title odds. Celtics or OKC, those are your favorites! There are plenty of questions to ask about Jaylen Brown. He has not played over thirty minutes in a game since March.
