2. A+ effort on Soto? – how is that a report? I would give them like a B-. You fell 65 million short. They were actually in, though. They committed. They are back in the pool. The issue is you have to now upgrade your team significantly by winning bidding wars and being uncomfortable.
3. How much should they invest this offseason? – Identify the guys who will help out your lineup. If you set values in free agency, you are going to finish third.
4. Who are the next targets? – priorities are starting pitching. Compete with other teams to get a big name. You have to do that. You need a starter. Alex Bregman is another target from what I hear. This is a real thing.
5. Is Bregman a good signing? – If you sign him, it is an automatic overpay. You get a guy in Bregman who is a good player.
