1. Shall I compare the sunrise To your love for me, the way You found me late and I found you, The way the calm beauty of The morning sky opened For us despite the day's conflicts. 2. We are like these two geese, swimming Together on our own. But then there is the flock To deal with, and maybe it's Not all bad, after the dawn, To gather with them and enjoy. 3. Our joy is so deep and wide, It has carried us further Than we thought this river Would go, all the way to the ocean, And sometimes into the air and sky To fall as refreshing rain.
Like beachcombing at low tide, I survey the path ahead for Creatures left over from the Dreams that troubled my sleep last night, While I wait for the tide to Turn and the wind to fill my sails.
My task is to venture deeper Into the dark mystery of The blooming light of dawn, To find my soul hidden Within the folds of the moment And let it find its own way home. The message of the sunrise is That there is no need to seek fame Or fortune but only Let the day come to you On the steadiness of the flow Of the river towards the sea.
Let go and be like these Fir limbs in joyful disarray Celebrating the rising sun. They're not showing off, they're just joining The dance that was set in motion When the universe exploded. Nine in the fourth place means Gather some friends together and Rekindle the flames of the sun In each other's hearts as you venture Forward in gladness towards a Shared vision of something beyond Yourselves and your petty Cares and gripes and worries and fears. See that white pickup truck down there? That's me, with the visor down, driving Into a new dawn. Come along And celebrate the day with me.
1. Wavering in the sun, Its own nimble reflection Gently carries on a dance Across the ripples of the day, Telling me perhaps to stop Dredging the bed of my memory. 2. Primal power of the shadows Kissing light's reflection Among the waves brings calm, No blame, no praise, nothing But the reality of you Filling up the sky of my mind. 3. It furthers the sunrise to have This fine rollercoaster of ripples To carry its light forward Towards my heart's intention Now found in the day's duration And the race to the finish line.
The sunrise, the clouds, the flowering Tree at the edge of the canal Exhale an innocence The noise of the day may try to choke With clever complications. If so, then nature will calmly wait.
premonition of death in the resurrection of the yellow sunrise and yellow flowers at my feet so i embrace this life and "learn by going where to go"
the exuberant sun rises without any effort and looks you in the eye humming a tune with the sky if you cannot hear it do not worry just dance
