🧠☁️Today I have a quick impulse, as I was a little bit cloudy, a little bit unclear those last days. And the one thing I really needed is space for myself, without distraction.
❓🤔What does that mean?
⏳🧒❌👨👩👧👧For me, that means time by myself, without any friends, or family around. Just me and maybe my dog. This space of being with yourself has given me the opportunity to actually go into meditation, without being bothered by other thoughts, like: “I only have time from now till XX:XX, or my friend is coming over, and I would like to do XYZ…”. It gives you time, to take the pace out of your daily rush.
🏞↔️🛠This environment will give you space to get to work on yourself, your own thoughts, and unaddressed ideas, it will help you to slow down and clear the fog that might be going on in your head.
❌🔎🌫And for me this fog is nothing, which I discover like: “Wowow here we go again, it’s time for a meditation, its time for myself” It is actually something I am not even realizing too much if I am not reminding myself consciously. Most of the time I get caught up, having a good time with my friends and family, which I love doing 100%, but slowly and unrecognized it is drawing me away from being focused on my project or work.
👀🔙😯🗓So every now and then, when I look back, and I realize ….. “I haven’t really followed a clear path those last weeks, and I am quite uncertain in some things, quite uninspired, then I figure, that I should implement an action, which allows me to focus on myself and to create clarity. For me, that is mostly meditation, but it can also be taking a long and thoughtful walk, without headphones, without a podcast, without any distractions, just focusing on nature and yourself. Another way can be a thoughtful time, while doing something, when you are in a complete routine, like washing the dishes, or doing your workout, preferably an action where you really don’t have to think.
🛀🧘♂️🤩The feeling you have afterward, being completely calm and centered, is amazing. And to me it is like taking a shower, in the beginning, it is just something necessary to do, but once you are in it, you don’t really wanna get out, because it is quite enjoyable. I hope you can relate, I recommend you to listen to the podcast and more importantly to look for those opportunities of creating space for yourself.
