Joseph Z Podcast

In Red Church today, Joseph Z teaches how to identify, understand, and use prophetic gifts. He also shares how to discover our calling and emphasizes the importance of connecting with the right people.

Joseph explains that some gifts are hereditary, while others are awakened after we are born again. He reveals that we are called to outgrow the yoke of containment in stages of 30, 60, and 100-fold, as illustrated in Isaiah 10:27. He assures us that we will outgrow every restraint that holds us back from fulfilling our calling to the point where we will look at the future and laugh.

He references 1 Chronicles 12:32 to remind us of the need to discern the signs of the times, know what to do about them, and align with the right tribe, such as the sons of Issachar. He clarifies that we find our calling when we discover our own people because our gifts come alive when we are connected with the right community.

Joseph further emphasizes the steps to gain prophetic clarity, warning that experiences do not validate truth; only God's word does. He reminds us that our perception of the Lord influences how we receive from Him and also how we treat our brothers and sisters, because we tend to act like the god we serve.

He explains the various prophetic ways of hearing from God: Roeh (the visionaries or foretellers), Nabi (the inspirational or bubbling up), Chazah (to gaze), and Chozeh (to look into the distance). He emphasizes that a person can operate in different aspects of these prophetic types. He describes the three categories of prophecy: real, false, and novices. While real prophets are biblical, submitted, generous, connected to the body of Christ, and humble, false prophets are not biblical, rebellious, exhibit false humility, and are greed-driven.

Novices in prophecy are those who lack understanding of how to manage their gifts due to the absence of mentorship. These individuals stand at a crossroads and can drift toward real or false prophets depending on their willingness to accept correction. He also highlights the difference between the gifts of prophecy and the office of the prophet. While many can operate in the former, the latter has the responsibility of equipping and edifying the body of Christ.

Joseph further emphasizes that every believer should recognize the signs of the times, know how to respond, and align with the right people to fulfill God's purpose, like the sons of Issachar. He stresses that prophetic individuals must maintain emotional stability and stay rooted in God's Word to avoid being vulnerable to discouragement. Interestingly, he shares ways to attain prophetic clarity, encouraging us to rise to the challenge and become all we are called to be.

Today, Joseph Z emphasizes the importance of humility for divine effectiveness. He highlights various ways to recognize when God calls us, while also warning against deception.

Joseph stresses that staying humble allows God to work through us effectively. He shares a personal experience where he was in a tough spot after God told him to cancel all his commitments and stay home to focus on his family. Despite the potential growth those commitments could have brought to his ministry, he chose to obey God. He assures us that if we are willing to do the hard things, God will do the impossible.

He also points out that God is creating a clear division between the holy and the profane. He outlines four key aspects that appear when God calls us. Joseph explains that someone must serve as a witness to our calling, much like John served as a witness to Jesus, as shown in John 5:31-39. He also notes that our deeds will testify that the Father has called us, and that the Father himself will confirm this calling. Furthermore, truly being called by God means standing firm on Scripture and His word.

Joseph references Matthew 24:9-11 to remind us of Christ's warning about false prophets rising in the end times, who will deceive many, including the elect. He emphasizes that our main purpose is to glorify Jesus and be disciples of His teachings. He warns us to stay alert against deception, as it can lead us astray and cause us to lose our way.

Today, Joseph Z emphasizes the importance of true discipleship and following Jesus' teachings. He highlights the spiritual gifts of salvation while discussing how traditions influence our lives and how embracing God's word empowers us against darkness.

Joseph explains that revelation is knowledge given to our spirit, which brings peace, balance, and order to every situation. He references John 1:12, reminding us that to those who received Him, He gave the right to become sons and daughters of God. He clarifies that revelation is the process through which we move from simply believing in Jesus to becoming children of God. While religion may try to enslave us, Christ has come to make us sons and daughters of God.

He emphasizes that to be true disciples of Jesus, we must also be students of His teachings, as shown in John 8:31. Interestingly, he points out that those who believe in Jesus but do not follow His teachings are only converts, not true disciples. He highlights the gifts of salvation available to every believer: salvation, deliverance, preservation, protection, provision, healing, and wholeness. Importantly, he notes that these gifts exist in the spiritual realm, and we must look beyond our five senses to access them.

Joseph also clarifies that we are shaped by the traditions in which we grow up, which greatly influence our lives. When our experiences contradict these traditional beliefs, we often cling to familiar customs. However, when we allow God's word to surpass our beliefs, we become a powerful force against the powers of darkness.

In Red Church today, Joseph Z explores the difference between the gift and office of prophecy, detailing various prophetic flows such as Roeh, Nabi, Chazah, and Chozeh. He calls for reformation through the gospel and discipleship.

Joseph highlights the differences between the Old and New Testaments. While we have the Holy Spirit within us in the New Testament and through Him come our spiritual gifts and ability to hear from God, the Old Testament was quite different, as the prophets communicated God's intentions to the people. He emphasizes the distinction between the gift of prophecy and the office of prophecy, showing that every believer can embody the former, while the latter involves the responsibility of equipping and edifying the body of Christ, which only the trained can fulfill.

He also explains that drawing close to God brings our gifts to life, encouraging us to read the Bible until it saturates our five senses.

Joseph further explains that offense can hinder us from hearing from God, reminding us that God has called us to bring reformation to the nation by preaching the gospel and making disciples of nations through His word.

He explains that God desires us to grow through levels represented by 30, 60, and 100-fold. Achieving this requires generational change, which involves turning the hearts of the fathers toward their children.

Joseph clarifies that an exchange of wisdom for strength between older and younger generations is essential for this change. He outlines various types of reformers and their roles in establishing a revelation, while also stressing the importance of spiritual fathers who guide the younger generation to preserve their legacy. He describes the qualities of a spiritual father as those worthy of imitation.

Furthermore, Joseph emphasizes that trials and persecutions are not meant to improve us but to weaken God's Word in our lives. He reminds us that God wants us to breakthrough and advance in life. When we align with God's calling, a merging of generations begins.

Can the devil ever be redeemed? Join Joseph Z as he explores the intriguing story surrounding hell as a form of punishment. Find out if hell will last forever.

Joseph explains that God did not create hell for humanity, but for the devil and the fallen angels who rebelled against Him. When the devil rebelled, he caused a violation of God that was so deep that no one could pay the penalty for the suffering God endured. This led to the creation of hell as a punishment for that crime. Even with all its severity, hell is still not enough to make up for the devil's sins.

He explains why the devil is considered beyond redemption. He references the Book of Ezekiel 28:15-17, noting that iniquity was found within the devil; he had no tempter and was not deceived by anyone, but was born with iniquity. So, anyone who chooses the author of sin over God Almighty shares in the punishment meant for that author.

Additionally, Joseph explains that everyone who rejects Jesus is headed for hell because Jesus was sent to save humanity from the condemnation caused by sin. This sin started with Adam, who fell for the devil's trick, tainting all his descendants with the devil's guilt. But Jesus came so that anyone who believes in Him can be freed from original sin and become worthy to be called sons and daughters of God. Joseph highlights God's deep love for us, shown by His decision to send His Son to Earth for our benefit.
