"Whatever the institution can not control, it kills and persecutes".

In this Voice of God episode, Joseph Z teaches how to overcome institutionalism, the dark, nefarious institutions that seek to control and dominate this world. He explains how the Pharisees came to be, revealing that they allowed the rules and ideals of man to intercept the pure word of the Lord that started on a good foundation. Moving on, Joseph instructs that it's time to rend our hearts and not our garments because God is ready to break the institution within us that makes His word ineffective in our lives. Interestingly, he instructs that we're not called to be nice as Christians, but good people who boldly stand against wickedness. Also, he reminds us of God's word in Matthew 16:25, warning that whoever seeks to save their lives will lose it, and whoever seeks to lose their lives, will save it. Thus, when we give up to go up, we begin to operate in the peace of God that passes all understanding.

Joseph further reveals that when we know who we are in Christ Jesus, we stand against every demonic influence and wickedness in the culture; for Christ has already informed us that we will have trouble in this world, but urged us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. Again, the Book of 1 John 4:17 reminds us of the perfection of God's love in our lives, in that, as He is, so are we, in this world. He then assures us that the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells within us, thus, we're expected to rise and stand against the wicked culture by faith; for our faith is the power that brings the world to its knees.

He informs us that God seeks a church and a people who will cooperate with Him to the point that they could alter time. He demands our cooperation to rise and shine in the middle of the present evil age. He also brings to mind the Biblical scenario where Joshua commanded the sun to stand still to give the Israelites more time to defeat their enemies. Next, Joseph makes us realize that God has given us the power to alter things, just as He led Abraham into His plans concerning Sodom and Gomorrah; where Abraham interceded for the people and inquired from God if He would please spare the city if He finds at least ten righteous people in it. This proves how delighted God finds mediators and intercessors; thus God demands our cooperation at this time, to alter the narrative in this generation.

Joseph further cites Colossians 2:13-15 to explain that God has already made a public spectacle of the powers of darkness and the guilt that held us bound because of the law, triumphing over them by the cross. He also explains patience to mean, remaining consistently the same as the first word we received without wavering. Thus, when we have faith, patience, and endurance, we obtain God's promises. He informs us that God requires us to alter our environment through faith, as the Book of 1 John 5:4 reveals: "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."
