Josh McPherson

Pastor Josh McPherson unpacks "The Six Dragons Every Man Must Kill" across the different seasons of life. Josh outlines how each season of a man's life, from youth to old age, presents unique "dragons" or obstacles, which must be slain through faith, discipline, and personal growth. As men, we must embrace responsibility, rely on God’s strength, and become stronger men through defeating the dragons that hinder spiritual growth.

In this sermon Pastor Josh McPherson focuses on the metaphor of "killing dragons," representing the battle against evil and sin in both personal and cultural spheres. Josh emphasizes that confronting these metaphorical dragons—anything opposing God's truth and righteousness—is difficult but necessary. As stronger men, we must be ready, willing, and able to fight these battles. Men must take responsibility, lead with courage, and slay the dragons of sin, temptation, and evil influences in their lives and communities.

How should Christians vote? Should Christians vote at all?
Pastor Josh McPherson emphasizes the importance of aligning our votes with biblical principles and Christian values rather than political parties or personal preferences. When Christians vote (and yes, they should vote), we need to think in the category of "Thus sayeth the LORD." We need to first acknowledge that our ultimate allegiance is to Christ.
