If you were to meet Jesus, what would you ask him? Your answer reveals a lot about you. In this sermon, Pastor Josh takes us on a remarkable journey through the Exodus story, a prophecy in Isaiah, and a king's adultery in II Samuel and how they all culminate in a miraculous interaction Jesus has with a blind man in Jericho. And in so doing, we see the 5 most important words anyone could say to Jesus.

In 4 short verses Jesus makes a stunning declaration, and in so doing gives us a road map for how to understand the Bible we read. Is it myth? Fairy tale? Fable? Folklore? History? Allegory? Moral tales? Many attack the Bible’s credibility with “gotcha” verses pointing out apparent contradictions, which only reveals a naivety and ignorance in failing to read the Bible on its own terms. The fundamental key to understanding the Bible is simply this: that the Bible is NOT a recorded history of man’s understanding of God. But if not that, then what is it? That is the question Pastor Josh unpacks from the words of Jesus in this story.
