Launched just last week and sitting at nearly $350,000 in pledged funding, Beehive Books have one of the biggest crowdfunding illustrated book volumes of all time with their new collaboration adapting the Carlo Collodi classic, Pinocchio. With over 50 brand new illustrations created specifically for this project from comics legend Mike Mignola and accompanying original notations from author Lemony Snicket interpreting the text, I had to catch up with founder Josh O'Neill to hear more about how all of this came into being and how Beehive is continuing to break new ground with the classics.
