The law of the wise is a fountain of life To turn one away from the snares of death

If then you were raised with Christ seek those things which are above where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God Set your mind on things above not on things on the earth For you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God

There are many plans in a man rsquo s heart Nevertheless the Lord rsquo s counsel mdash that will stand

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God and the prisoners were listening to them Suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone rsquo s chains were loosed

Then God blessed them and God said to them ldquo Be fruitful and multiply fill the earth and subdue it have dominion over the fish of the sea over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth And He put all things under His feet and gave Him to be head over all things to the church

Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head and kissed him and said ldquo Is it not because the Lord has anointed you commander over His inheritance

After these things I looked and behold a door standing open in heaven And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me saying ldquo Come up here and I will show you things which must take place after this rdquo

He also spoke this parable ldquo A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard and he came seeking fruit on it and found none Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard lsquo Look for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none Cut it down why does it use up the ground rsquo But he answered and said to him lsquo Sir let it alone this year also until I dig around it and fertilize it And if it bears fruit well But if not after that you can cut it down rsquo rdquo

Beloved while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints

So God created man in His own image in the image of God He created him male and female He created them Then God blessed them and God said to them ldquo Be fruitful and multiply fill the earth and subdue it have dominion over the fish of the sea over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves on the earth rdquo
