Journal Prompts

What's your life purpose? Is it to bring happiness to people? Is it to influence lives? Is it to fuck up so much that in your later years of living you give knowledge to endless amount of people of how NOT to live life? There are endless amount of scenarios, just remember that yours is as important as everyone else's.

This Journal Prompt can be looked at in so many different ways. You can either think simple, like, I'm surprised I didn't carry on my childhood hobby, or I can't believe people don't talk about how lucky we are to be living in this planet in probably the best time period of human history. I really want people to think about this one before listening since you can go in SO many directions.

The Coronavirus is a period of time that none of us expected, and is affecting us ALL. During this pandemic, my thoughts of this disease has varied with all the information spewing out of the news and internet. My guest today is from one of our earlier episodes, Ray, and he wanted to come on to talk about his feelings of the coronavirus since he is included in the group of high risk due to his age. Ray and I share our thoughts on what we think will happen with these upcoming weeks/months, and our thoughts on everyone buying a life supply of toilet paper and paper towels, Enjoy!

Joy and Happiness are two emotions that many of us want to increasingly obtain more of, yet we never sit down and think about what brings us these emotions. What activities bring us a genuine smile? Which friends and family members do we want to be around more? How do we control ourselves from manifesting negative emotions and energy into our lives? Sitting down for an hour and thinking about what brings you joy and happiness could potentially eliminate most of your unhappiness for the future.

Having a mentor growing up helps in everyday life. So many small decisions have come from the seeds that were planted in our head from the people we looked up to. But life is always flipping the script, so have you ever thought of being on the other side? Being a mentor to someone is tough because you can have great advice, but the way you deliver the message is a whole different ball game. I was joined by my friend @ to discuss the journal prompt, but also our history of any kind of mentorship that we've had in our previous years/present day.

Instead, Danielle woke up from her nap and had so much to talk about that she thought I was her therapist. Death and taxes are the only two guaranteed problems we face as human beings ... or is it? What if in the future we figure out a way to live forever? Would you choose to live forever or go out like the rest of our ancestors that brought us to this point? No one knows what happens after death but we all know what life is like. The unknown scares but also intrigues us, so what would you do?

The history of humans will always intrigue me. We went from being in tribes and always helping out the people that surround us to becoming jealous and negative towards each other. What happened over those thousands of years? Is it the competition that makes us behave this way? How should we deal with it? Hate and negativity does no good in any situation but we shouldn't ignore our actions and try to turn our behaviors around.

Todays Episode will be a little different. A lot of people don't get a chance to sit down and talk about their problems in a serious manner for at least an hour. To be able to talk about your problems is hard, but finding a solution for them is even harder, especially in one conversation. This is the start of Jess figuring out how she'll overcome her issues and it may spark a thought to begin her journey of leading herself in the right direction. Properly finding a solution to a mental problem is a skill that's hard to develop and something everyone should start practicing.
