Growing pains. Sometimes we experience them. Sometimes we don’t. Sometimes we

become accustomed to growing.

Growing pains occur because our body is opposed to the growth. However, our bodies

must grow. Hence, the pain.

In verses 1-3, Paul is still continuing his discussion of the question, “since God’s grace has

set us free from the law, does that mean that we can go on sinning?”

Paul gives another explanation using an analogy of marriage. No we can’t.

What are you a slave to? Slave to sin? Slave to righteousness?

What is marriage? It has a mixed bag of meanings in our culture. What do the Scriptures teach regarding, what is marriage?

What are the obstacles that split our love in relationships and how can we overcome them?

In the Song of Songs, a poetic celebration of love, there are three senses of the word love

that can guide us to God’s ideal of a complete relationship.

What should we do when confronted with spiritual situations that we have no idea on how

to handle? If we wait till that point, it’s too late. We must be prepared through prayer.

Who are our neighbors? How do we lived focused in prayer and action with our neighbors?
