Jesus said that he was the way to life and truth. He also said that there was a way of following him that led to eternal, abundant life. We have to choose to follow this way if we want to experience this kind of life.

Jesus didn't enter into a picture perfect world. Mary and Joseph were away from family, registering for higher taxes and they had to run for their lives for years in Egypt. In all of that trauma, God was with them. In the good and the bad, God is with us.

We have this light in us that we are meant to share WITH the world and love often looks a lot like work, according to Jesus.

We share the light of the world when we function as the church is meant to function.

Jesus said having the light of the world means walking in the light.

Jesus showed us to the way to make a friend and deal with toxic relationships.
