This Sunday is our last regular service of 2011 and we are talking about loving all. We will be sharing 1 question that will improve every single one of your relationships whether its a spouse, child, friend, boy/girlfriend, neighbor (you get the picture). Loving others is one of the primary characteristics of a disciple but it can sometimes be so hard to love people. This is going to be a eye opening topic for some and a great time to bring a friend!

Celebrating the coming of Jesus means celebrating the life that Jesus promised us and called us to live. This weekend, we are conspiring together to share the grace that we have received to others who need it. We are also looking forward to a presentation of the Christmas Story by our kids. For the last few weeks we have been talking about the conspiracies that have been woven through history to distract us from God. Things like sexuality, the need for significance, rebellion, consumerism, and religion.

This Christmas, we are conspiring to celebrate the cause of Christmas above and beyond the endless shopping lists and mad dashes to grab that last gift that everyone wants. This year, be filled with something so much greater than Christmas cheer. Experience the gift of God's presence among us. That simple act changed the whole world and we don't want to miss the party that Jesus started!

Last weekend, we talked about one of the most troubling conspiracies of all time, consumption. Every one of us struggles with the need to consume resources, people, and even God to fill a hole that only Jesus can fill.

As a pastor (Mark), the conspiracy of consumption and the conspiracy we are talking about this weekend are the two I struggle with the most. It keeps me from seeing the big picture God wants to paint with my life and can often lead to an overall sense of pessimism even though that is not who I normally am. Come close out this series with us as we deal with our junk so that we can experience God's treasure.

There is a conspiracy that has been weaved through the fabric of almost every nation on the planet that is slowly poisoning Christians and subtly changing the gospel. Every single one of us is affected by it and some believe that it is unrecoverable. We are uncovering it this weekend so that we can be free to experience and pursue Jesus fully. This is an important issue that I hope you will plan to address with us. It won't be easy, but it will change a desperate world.

This weekend is for the rebels. Those that choose to fight against the grain of society and culture and purse a life following God. For every disciple, it is our nature to rebel against the order of things. Unfortunately, there is a conspiracy afoot to try and turn that God given rebellious streak a foothold into something else.

Most conspiracies draw on some truth and shift it just enough to throw everyone else off course while the conspirators get exactly what they want.

This weekend, we are talking about another highly effective conspiracy that has shattered the gospel in many of our lives. You see, we were meant to experience life fully and without worry walking hand in hand with our creator. It was meant to be the adventure of a lifetime full of hope, happiness, and anticipation of great things every single day.

Instead, we've been the victims of THE most successful conspiracies of all time. We are naming the conspirators and stealing back what they stole from us.
