Susannah Eldridge is a Los Angeles-based Christian writer, wife, and mom-to-be. Eldridge was raised by a single mother, a public school teacher in Orange County, Ca. Her biological father chose not to be a part of her life despite the fact that he considered himself a strong Christian. Eldridge was predominantly raised around educated Christian women, and in her home she was encouraged to ask questions about God and faith. She felt free to doubt and question not only God, but pastors and church leaders as well. As she grew older, her curiosity about her biological father grew as well. During her teen years, Eldridge asked her mother to help her find her biological father. With the help of a private investigator, he was located living just twenty minutes away. He was working as a businessman and would eventually become a pastor.
