Michele grew up in a loving Christian home. She even served in her family's Christian ministry. Michelle gave her life to Jesus as a child and has loved Him ever since. At age 20, she finally admitted to herself that she was attracted to another woman. Although she never turned her back on Jesus, Michelle eventually withdrew from the family and the ministry, feeling that God couldn't use her and that she would bring shame on them because she was a lesbian. Today she's finally starting to see that both her family and God are proud of who she is.
