  • Single and Ready to Mingle?
Welcome to the weekly Melanated Woman Podcast where there is a new episode every Monday. We all know that today is Valentine's Day, so I had to make this exception. (Please forgive me for misspeaking in the introduction, quoting that tomorrow is Valentine's Day). If you missed the first two episodes, no worries, they are still available to listen to, enjoy, share and subscribe. You dont want to miss the upcoming interviews. (Currently we are at the beginning of a series entitled, "A Talk With Colette: A Human Being Who is also Transgender"). Valentine's Day usually gets mixed reviews. It can be an exciting day to celebrate the love between two lovers, friends and family. It can also be triggering for persons healing from love lost or love that is longing to be had. And then it can just be another, ordinary day that is acknowledged without pain or not acknowledged at all. I want to hear from you about your experiences with and about Valentine's Day. So for now, I welcome my good friend Sinithia to talk with us about her unique views on life, singleness and Valentine's Day. • A Talk With Colette on Life and Being Transgender. Part 1
I sit and talk with my friend, Colette (who is also Transgender) about worldview. Understanding people's worldview helps to understand who they are and why they believe and live as they choose. This is not an apologetic episode. It is the foundation of Colette's life. In episodes to come, we will discuss identity, social justice, Racheal Dozeal, religion, transition, mental health and more! Listen, share and subscribe!
