Episode subtitle: "Maybe Don't Fuck That Cow".
In which one of our hosts completely breaks this close to the finish line, probably because he had to marathon 4 episodes of Kiva on his birthday. Happy birthday, Evan. Condolences.
Can our hosts get horny for a belt? YOU DECIDE. The evidence is the podcast before you.
We're back to double-pace as everyone just wants to be done with Kiva already. Only three more, chaps!
It's time for everyone's favorite part of a Japanese drama: the beach episode!
What do you mean Tokusatsu GaGaGa is a comedy
Someone decided to try and make a Rider series explicitly for adults, and to top it all off, it was the first official English release of the franchise in about twenty years. So we're watching it on off-weeks now. If you want to watch along, "Amazon Riders" can be found on Amazon Prime free for members, fully translated.
It cannot be stressed enough: later episodes of this show are going to describe some extremely hardcore things. I will warn of them when it comes up but I'm not letting people go in blind to the series with an excess of gore, cannibalism, and more.
- Editor Fletch
If I could give episodes titles on this show, this week would definitely be "Good Job Failing, Dumbass!" Thank you to Evan for the best line so far in season Kiva.
Close second to Chris for one that follows almost immediately afterwards: "Maybe Fangires can't see white people."
This week on the program: be surprised it took 85 episodes before the co-hosts revolted at the thought of covering every single detour this project takes as we continue onwards with Kiva proper and ignore the movie that happened right before this week's story arc.
(Editor's note: How much do you want to bet Garrett and I end up covering this down the road together for completion's sake?)
Rejoice! Here at the end of all timelines, our hosts finally catch up on a series that began the same month as this podcast.
Another April looms, and that means your humble editor gets to have his way with the show for a week. As an aside - did you know Garrett has a second podcast? You do now.
Every time our hosts think they've hit the bottom, Kiva keeps digging deeper. Join us for a short episode that somehow still involves a break for existential dread!
