Giving thanks to God is varied. There is not just one way.

Passage in Psalms tells us there is something beneficial in thanking God.

3 Reasons for thankfulness:

1. Thanking God is morally right

2. Personally satisfying

3. Therapeutic

Through thankfulness, God heals and delivers.

Biblical reasons to be thankful:

1. Thanksgiving encourages a grateful heart

2. Thanksgiving develops a positive attitude

3. Thanksgiving produces an attractive witness. Attract others to Christ.

A grateful heart will always result in thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving does not require having everything you want, but it requires gratefulness.

One’s attitude determines one’s attractiveness.

Quit studying the problems and start studying the promises. Philippians 4:6

It is a good thing to be thankful unto God!

Must be in position to receive some blessings

True faith will automatically have some signs.  Faith will produce action.

Sometimes interference clouds what should be a smooth connection.

Sometimes in your walk with God, you will have valleys, storms, and tribulations; but, you have to stay connected to God.  This is possible through our covenant with God.

Galatians 6:7-9

Moses life was broken into 3 - 40 year phases.

Timing/due/stuff you gotta go through

There is reward or due coming in your life.

Last 40 he is with the children of Israel doing the will of God

In life we go through phases looking for what is new.

Most people operate with a thought I’d “what’s in it for me?”

There is always a due season, but you have to go through phases, but the sue will always show up.

If you sow in flesh, you will reap what comes from the flesh.

When you sow in the spirit, you will reap things of a spiritual nature.

What we do will come back to us.  Obey God and reap the right benefits.

Weariness  comes from fatigue, but don’t give up.

Sometimes in life, you have to work within your season no matter how rough the season is, but God’s faithfulness brings us through.

What you are going through doesn’t change who God is.

No matter your season (good or bad), keep doing good and what is right.

Through prayer, God gives you what you need to endure and to give you faith so that you can get through your situation.

Jesus ability to health confirms his right to forgive sins. 

Teamwork- Ministry is teamwork. We are better together. A church the works together wins together. We are labors together with God. We are in Partnership with God but he doesn't work for us. We work for him. We are not self employed in the Gospel.  We are not working for ourselves. 

Trinity main Paradigm for teamwork:

1. The father planned redemption.

2. Son work worked the plan of salvation.

3. Holy Spirit applies salvation by dealing with us. 

Noah had three sons.

Joshua had those in Jericho.

The Disciples- Jesus has a team.

We are in this thing together.  

Joshua 3:6,7,17 4:1-9, 18-24, 14:4

Psalms 77:11

1. Memorials  serve as  reminders of God's faithfulness to his promise.

2. Memorials serve as reminders for future Generations.

3. Memorials remind us that we made it over.

Crossing the Jordan River, the warring tribes went first and the worship after the cross.
