David Bulit is the author of numerous books and a photographer cataloging abandoned places across America.

Every year the United States Postal Service delivers billions of packages and letters. This services has been around since the founding of our nation and continues to find new ways to be relevant to our lives, businesses, and community. Al Freedman, Florida President of the National Association of Letter Carriers, gives a peek inside the postal services and the challenges they’re fa acting this election as more people than ever are voting by mail.

I visit two places in my neighborhood, Seminole Heights, that have one thing in common sustainability. The Sustainable Living Project is a hands on urban garden that puts sustainable practices to work showing how they can be used in our own homes and communities. Heights Seafood Co is a local market where the fresh catch is 100% sustainable that way we can continue to enjoy the fish we love to eat while protecting the species and environments they come from.

Decades ago Zion Cemetery an African-American graveyard was broken up, built over, and almost lost to time but it was not forgotten. Local residents, the Tampa Bay Times newspaper, and a team of archaeologists are working to resurrect Zion. Archaeologist Becky O’Sullivan with the Florida Public Archeology Network and her colleagues bring modern technology to the dirty work of unearthing the truth.
