Tampa resident Ray Reed in an effort to beautify the community uncovered long buried secrets around the city. To date he has found more than 4,000 documents greatly increasing the number of burials at known and forgotten cemeteries. Inventory of the Dead is his effort to bring dignity back to those whose resting places are hiding in plain sight.

Naeem Willette is a Fish Biologist who works for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. His work on aging fish and shark research has taken him to some interesting places and it all began with saying yes when he didn’t even know what he was saying yes to! His work is important to the protection and conservation of fish species. Naeem wants to encourage young people, especially those in the African-American community to venture in the marine sciences as a career. Chris Reynolds is an accomplished sculptor who plies his trade in trade in Georgia’s booming movie and TV production industry. Having worked on productions like Stranger Things, Goosebumps, and Guardians of the Galaxy his journey from Alaska to the big screen is a testament to the inspiration of teachers and knowing how to be a team player

Chef René Valenzuela has left is culinary mark on Tampa Bay for more than 20 years. His new endeavor René’s Mexican Kitchen is a throwback to classic approaches to cooking street taco’s he learned growing up and starting his restaurant in Monterrey Mexico. In this episode we learn why he goes all in making his own charcoal, how a jalapeño exporter landed in Tampa and built one of the city’s culinary staples, and what comes next.

She gives detailed insight into the process and challenges that exists when setting up studies, collecting data, and ultimately being an advocate for her patients.
