Today I wanted to share a couple big lessons I got from over 12 months of attending the most MEGA business retreat experiences out there, including a cruise through the Greek Islands, a private week at Denise Duffield-Thomas' Rose Farm in Australia and a week on the private island belonging to Sir Richard Branson.

Sure there are some obvious highlights associated with trips with this level of luxury and access, but some of greatest gifts these trips gave me were actually a bit surprising.

For me personally, being in the season of attending retreats instead of hosting them has been such a joy… being held in these beautiful containers of growth, indulgence, beauty, friendship and expansion has been such a wonderful gift - especially while being in a stage of life raising two kids under 4 and managing not one, but three businesses.
