Psalm 30 offers both an honest acknowledgment of life’s brokenness and a powerful promise for those who trust in God. In this devotional, we reflect on the familiar words: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” The reality of this world is that sin brings sorrow, loss, and seasons of grief. There are moments when mourning is appropriate and unavoidable. Yet the promise attached to that reality is hope. God’s anger is righteous and momentary, but His favor brings life.
