Joy is among the rarest things in the world, yet in the ascension of Jesus, all may rejoice, even those for whom joy is a struggle. Bishop Paul examines the deep joy in Christ’s ascension, for in it, we see our beloved Lord enthroned above all, available at all times and in all places, and generous in power and presence. We also see, alongside the apostles who witnessed it, that God keeps his every promise. Joy can truly be ours.
