Peter Clapinski: Tiny homes in Geelong and Bellarine
» Share it via YouTube
Peter Clapinski is president of Geelong & Bellarine Tiny Homes, a new organisation advocating for more affordable housing in our region, building ‘micro-communities’ of tiny steel framed houses on a trailer which has been fitted out – and built to a tiny budget.
Given the housing affordability problem, there is growing interest in the tiny homes movement.
On Sustainable House Day, you are able to see two very different tiny homes under construction in Moolap. One is on a trailer and the other on a skid. Both have steel frames and are being built to a tiny budget. On the location you can also see another tiny house on skid made by local manufacturer Steeline JH Stephenson.
