On International Pronouns day, Mila Jam dials in from New York (3am her time!!) for some peace, love and Jam (yum!).  She talks to us about unity within the rainbow community, the importance of belonging and what it means to connect with other humans. We just really wish she was coming to see us at Sydney World Pride!  Dave becomes a father to a fur-ball, Kirsty Buchanan comes in to talk about her “Bros” movie date with Joel and… is Jennifer Keyte catfishing the boys?!!

Darren Hayes is Homosexual

Homosexual is the 5th studio album from Australian singer-songwriter Darren Hayes. It was released on 7 October 2022 and is Hayes’ third studio album to be released on his own record label, Powdered Sugar. The album was preceded by four focus tracks: “Let’s Try Being in Love“, “Do You Remember?”, “Poison Blood“, and “All You Pretty Things”.  Homosexual is the first of Hayes’ studio albums where he has written, composed, produced and performed entirely by himself.

Darren’s world tour begins in 2023.

Move over Hugh Jackman… Nick Bracks is in studio to celebrate our first 6pm show!  Our quintuple+ threat guest is an entrepreneur, actor, dancing with the stars alumni, author, mental health ambassador, podcaster and, amongst other good nouns, a demonstrably quality human being (Trust us.  We ran all the off-air Joy Weekly tests and measurements to confirm).  Returning to Melbourne from his current home in New York, Nick shares with us some of his personal struggles with mental health, growing up in the spotlight of a political family and how he was finally able to connect with his true self.  Joel and Dave reliably serve the deep and not-so-deep questions (i.e. why Neighbours couldn’t find budget to supply him with a shirt on the show).  Either way, we think Nick is the kind of guy who would give the shirt off his back to help someone out.  The question is…  does he have enough resilience to win at Joel’s Trivia segment?  Uh, oh!  Nick already looks nervous!
