Diane lined up a fantastic guest for our episode this week, Joyce King from Lower Hainesville N.B. Many of you don't know that Joyce was a champion arm wrestler. Even crazier is the fact Joyce started at the late age of 30. Skip ahead 10 years and Joyce defeated a Russian rival super heavyweight to become the best female arm wrestler in the world. I was unaware of this, but Joyce competed with her right and left arm over her career. Joyce earned 18 national championships and 18 World Arm Wrestling Federation medals, she won 12 gold, four silver, and two bronze medals. Inducted into the Canadian Arm Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2011. Inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame, on October 15, 2021. Joyce the Catcher King was her nickname and for good reason. I don't want to spoil it here but you should listen to the episode and find out why the Catcher King is so appropriate. A wonderful episode and I am sure our audience will enjoy this one a ton.
