This week, we are sharing an interview that Rachel did with Matt Mosley on Big Pig Energy on the Arkansas Sports Network. They are joined by Coach Randy Coleman, who is the President of Arkansas Sports Network's Coaches Association. They talk about how a Zoom interview Randy heard with Rachel ultimately resulted in Rachel speaking to the student body and Jonesborogh High School... and now to 1000 coaches as part of the Arkansas Sports Network. 

Feel the passion of high school sports as Coach Coleman brings Rachel in to speak to Arkansas coaches to help them re-energize and pour into the lives of student athletes. Let this be a reminder that even one small connection with another human being can create ripples and great opportunities.

The new year does not have to be a time for resolutions. I believe 2023 is going to be a year of joy, a year of peace, regardless of your circumstances. If you've survived something hard, something traumatic, or if you're wanting to ease into the new year... remember you don't need crazy resolutions.  I want what's good for your soul. We can achieve greatness while also taking pressure off ourselves. 

This episode is about finding hope and purpose in our lives as we move into the new year. We talk about TCU football, Damar Hamlin, prayer, and how we can change the way we view athletes in our society, recognizing that there's more to them than just sports, and acknowledge them as humans, as somebody's child, partner, friend, and teammate.

Let's take the pressure off and allow our souls to be filled with joy and gratitude.

Rachel was recently in Jonesboro, Arkansas for the second time in 2022 to speak with the students at Jonesboro High School. In this episode, she introduces you two two inspiring women who are driving real change at the high school. Shatel Gaines is the guidance counselor who secured a grant to have Rachel speak at the school this fall; she continues to work closely with Rachel. Sydney Parker is a senior at the high school. As a result of Rachel's earlier visit, Sydney started the Don't Suffer Alone Club. We'll hear from both women to learn more about the mental health advocacy efforts at the school and the impact these additional mental health resources are having in their community.

Five years ago, Rachel met her now-husband. To honor the occasion, she takes a look back and shares how they met and why he still gives her butterflies. 

If you are waiting on your person, have faith. If you're with someone and the spark has faded, pour on the fertilizer and spoil them with your love. Know that there will continually be opportunities to fall in love with them for the rest of your life.

You have not met all the people who are going to love you fiercely, and that you're going to love fiercely. And you have no idea the goodness that is ahead. Keep the faith.
