JRP DAILY

Hopefully.. this is the last one with the horrible audio.

Anyway, a lot of people like to talk about free college.

There's also a trend now of being "anti-college" and basically everything is up in the air with whether or not you should go to school.

And of course, there are a lot of "depends on" answers to these types of questions.

The thing is that one of the BIGGEST arguments against college is the outrageous prices that it can come with. But does that make the whole entire system broken?

If college were free, would these "anti-college" folks really change their minds?

Despite the fact that I'm still in school... I probably fall more on the anti-college side of this debate.

So let me let you know what I think.

Feel free to chime in.

Welcome to this week's episode with Sean Andres!

Sean is currently a Music Business student at Mansfield University.

He started his time at Mansfield as a student of Music Education, but after some time he saw a different path for himself to take in his post-graduation time.

Since learning how to wrap his own mallets in school, Sean thought it would be a cool idea to wrap a whole bunch of mallets for other percussionists, and to sell them their own custom mallets! Then that's exactly what he decided to do.

So after this idea sparked to start his own business selling percussion mallets, he naturally switched over his major and started taking more business courses.

He also really indulged himself in the music business world over this summer by interning at two different music festivals on opposite sides of the country.

One was in Florida, and the second was in Colorado.

After all of that, I can see that Sean is really enjoying what he is doing now, and is very excited for the road that lies ahead of him.

The best part is that he has been finding opportunities around what he has always loved to do, rather than chasing after the money in another space that he doesn't care to be in.

That's one of the coolest things anyone can do.

Be sure to check out some other episodes!! Most of them are better than this one, actually.

Yes, the audio is still weird.

Outside of that, my idea for this one was to talk about change.

Nobody really likes change, and I'm not entirely an exception.

But what if we look at it from a different perspective?

Let's talk about the audio here.

I don't know what I did, but the audio in the recordings for the next four or five days sounds atrocious.

That being said, I'm not even going to bother messing around with them and making them sound worse.

So cover your ears for the intro and the outro, and get ready to hear weird robot Justin for the next few days.

I'm warning you now.

We forgot to make a big deal out of it... but we have officially hit THREE HUNDRED episodes of JRP DAILY!!! (Woot Woot!!)

Anyway, since we were really running on E for ideas of what to talk about as students, we decided we were going to take this episode a different direction.

Something new (and pretty weird) has been happening lately... and we felt like you guys should know about it.

Justin has actually been watching MOVIES!! (what the?)

That's right, and by no surprise, this is all because of a podcast he's started listening to titled "The Avid Indoorsmen" (Go check them out)

With all of this being said, it is quite possible that you will be seeing a NEW movie podcast coming from us in the future so... stay tuned.

In the meantime, here's a little glimpse into what you MIGHT be able to expect, so if you happen to have any sort of feedback, let us know.

I messed up my audio on this one, I know.

In the meantime, if you are or have ever met one of those people that gets really up in arms because their special brand of chips that were imported from Nowheresland has suddenly become hard to find on the shelf at their favorite store... then this episode is for you.

It's called Shelf-Space.

Stores will put what they sell the most of on their shelves.

Let me tell you some things about Shiny Object Syndrome (SOS).

It's pretty commonly talked about now, and usually regarded as something that is bad.

I don't think it is that bad.

Shiny Object Syndrome is actually exactly what some of us need.

Here's why..

This one has been coming for a while... but it's finally here! Mr. Michael O'Brien is back in the studio and asking some questions that you guys submitted to me on Instagram.

This isn't our first time sitting down and doing a podcast together. We got to know Michael back on episode 133... back before I even did videos.

If you want to start with that episode, I would encourage you to, and you can find it by going to https://anchor.fm/jrpdaily.

Otherwise, enjoy some of the answers you can get from this episode, and be sure to tell your friends about it!

We are going to discuss a little bit of copyright law, LLC stuff, and other business law stuff.
