Georgia Veterans State Park(18-DGC): 2-13-23 Part 2: Ten through Eighteen. Course #121 in UDisc  Cordele, Georgia  / Concrete Tees / DISCatcher Pro (original) Targets / Established 2005 / Cart Friendly Yes, even though pine cones are a pain at times, but still cart friendly.  Trees, but they are really tall pines for the most part. In the summer months, you WILL need bug spray!

1st Eagle of 2023 on 17 in this episode. It's a great park with some challenging lines, nothing insane, but it will make you work. A great stop choice for the podcast. #118 Tracks at McDonough Georgia

Durning the tournament, we ended up getting some rain for the event. Round 1 was not bad, but round two was a downpour and a muddy mess. 

A long, wooded technical course, the Tracks has generous fairways but will punish bad shots with dense woods if you don't hit your gaps. Trains run by regularly, so be prepared for some noise when you're putting or teeing off. To beat this course, you need every variety of shot in your bag and will still have to improvise maybe a few shots you've never thrown before.

Description

Fun and challenging park-style course. It can be deceivingly tricky, especially when the wind picks up. Several holes have some elevation - making this course distinctive in this area. Balanced for left and right curving shots. Scenic views during the winter, with tighter lines in the spring and summer. The park offers camping. Do not throw if walkers are on the path, and please follow the County Park Rules; No alcohol or drugs. Do not litter.

#112 Ocala Greenway Ocala, Florida This course was much more open than I expected. Challenging, but enough open shots to keep from getting too stressed out. Beautiful scenery and no significant water hazers. I pass this area a lot of my travels and would like to play this a few more times. An excellent course to have as a home course for the locals.
