JT's Mix Tape

What if Paradise wasn't originally in Heaven... but somewhere deep inside the Earth? In Episode 56 of the Ancient Roots of Life & Wellness Podcast, JT and Josh Truex of Modern Roots Life investigate one of the most fascinating mysteries in biblical theology: Where did Jesus go during the three days between His crucifixion and resurrection?Jesus promised the thief on the cross that he would be with Him in Paradise that very day. But Jesus also spoke of spending three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth. How do these passages fit together? We explore Sheol, Hades, Abraham's Bosom, the Gospel of Nicodemus, and the Book of Enoch before continuing our study of the Ascension of Isaiah, Chapter 4.In this episode:

• Was Paradise once located beneath the Earth?
• What happened when Jesus descended into Hades?
• Does the resurrection in Matthew 27 challenge our understanding of the end times?
• Where is the Camp of the Saints in Revelation 20?
• Could the lost grandeur of Old World architecture connect to the Millennial Kingdom?
• Does the Ascension of Isaiah describe Nero as Beliar?
• How does this ancient prophecy compare with Revelation and the writings of Paul?
• Why is Wisdom described in feminine language in some ancient texts?

We're asking difficult questions, comparing scripture with ancient writings, and exploring interpretations that challenge conventional end-times theology.Support the podcast: Find us on Patreon for early and uncensored episodes.Sponsor: Modern Roots Life — support Josh and discover what Modern Roots Life has to offer. What do YOU think? • The Book of Enoch and forbidden knowledge
• Viral White House footage and the uncanny valley
• Akhenaten, elongated skulls, and ancient statues
• Mysterious creatures illustrated on old maps

In this episode of Ancient Roots of Life, JT and Josh Truex dive into one of the biggest mysteries in Genesis: what happened to the giants after the Flood?

We start with the recent buzz surrounding Mount Ararat and reports of new scans that appear to show a massive boat-shaped structure beneath the surface. Could this be evidence of Noah’s Ark, or are we looking at something else entirely? From there, the conversation goes deep into the strange traditions surrounding Noah, ancient anchor stones, Og of Bashan, the Rephaim, and the possibility that the Nephilim survived—or returned—after the Flood. We also explore Genesis 6, the “sons of God,” the idea of a second incursion, and why giant tribes appear again in the biblical record long after the Flood. JT and Josh compare the biblical account with ancient traditions from Sumerian, Greek, and other cultures, while asking how much of these stories may preserve distorted memories of real events.

The conversation also gets into some of the stranger questions surrounding Noah’s family, the curse of Canaan, the meaning of “uncovering nakedness,” and whether ancient traditions about Noah’s wife or bloodlines could help explain the presence of giants in the post-Flood world. Later in the episode, we begin a new study through The Ascension of Isaiah, an ancient text featuring visions of heaven, spiritual beings, Satan, and the unseen realm.

Topics include: Noah’s Ark, Mount Ararat, Genesis 6, Nephilim, giants after the Flood, Og of Bashan, Rephaim, the Watchers, second incursion theory, ancient mythology, Canaan, Noah’s family, and The Ascension of Isaiah.Subscribe for more Bible study, ancient texts, biblical mysteries, and conversations exploring the roots of Scripture and the ancient world.

This episode goes deep.

I sit down with Av — known as CenturyReset / Avo Domini — to talk about old-world architecture, biblical cosmology, Tartaria, the Millennial Reign of Christ, and one enormous question:

Does the history we've been given actually make sense?

Across America, enormous courthouses, capitol buildings, cathedrals and other elaborate structures are attributed to relatively small 19th-century communities—often during an era we picture as horses, wagons and westward expansion.

Av has been traveling to these places and documenting them firsthand.

We get into the strange construction timelines, buried levels, forgotten buildings, Greco-Roman imagery, the rediscovery of ancient statues, the World’s Fairs, Nero's colossal image, the “image of the beast,” biblical prophecy and the possibility that our understanding of Revelation's 1,000-year reign and Satan's “little season” needs another look.

We're not claiming to have every answer. We're asking whether the story we've inherited actually fits the evidence—and whether we should trust Scripture before assumptions we've never seriously examined.

Let me know what YOU think in the comments.

WE MADE IT TO EPISODE 100!For this milestone episode of JT's Mix Tape, the whole crew is together for the topic you overwhelmingly chose: THE LITTLE SEASON.What exactly does Revelation 20 mean when it says Satan would be bound for 1,000 years and afterward released for a "little season"? Is that event still somewhere in our future—or is it possible we're living through it right now?JT, Brian from Demon Erasers, and Aaron from Tune Thy Heart go deep into the biblical timeline and some of the strangest questions surrounding our accepted history. We examine Revelation 20, the Millennial Kingdom, the Dark Ages, old-world architecture, star forts, World's Fairs, buried cities, mud floods, alternative chronology, Nero and 666, the dating of Revelation, Jesus' repeated statements that He was coming "quickly," the mysterious events surrounding 536 AD, Pompeii, the Statue of Liberty, New Jerusalem, Gog and Magog, and what the end of the Little Season could actually look like.Could history have been distorted enough to hide something enormous?Could the 1,000-year reign already be behind us?And if Satan was released specifically to deceive the nations… are we looking at that deception right now? We're not claiming to have every answer. The purpose of this conversation is to examine Scripture, question our assumptions and seriously consider where we may be on the biblical timeline. And regardless of where you land on the Little Season:Jesus is still on the throne.
The Holy Spirit is still active.

Did Daniel actually kill a dragon? And why isn't this story in most modern Bibles?

In Episode 54 of the Ancient Roots of Life Podcast, JT and Josh dive into Bel and the Dragon, the fascinating addition to Daniel preserved in the Septuagint tradition. Daniel exposes the priests of Bel, destroys their idol, kills a creature the Babylonians worship as a god, and then finds himself thrown into a lions' den — again.

From there, we tackle one of the biggest debates in Christianity: What actually changed under the New Covenant? We examine Jeremiah's prophecy, Acts 15, Paul's writings, the Ten Commandments, Sabbath observance, Torah, and what it means for God's law to be written on the heart.

Finally, we finish our journey through the Gospel of Nicodemus / Acts of Pilate, including its extraordinary traditions surrounding Christ, Hades, the resurrection, and Pilate's reported testimony concerning Jesus. This one goes all over the ancient world — Babylon, Daniel, dragons, Torah, the New Covenant, Hades, Pilate and the resurrection.

What do you think: Is Bel and the Dragon preserving a genuine ancient tradition about Daniel? And what should we study next?

The New Covenant discussion begins from Jeremiah's prophecy that God would establish a covenant “not according to” the covenant made at the Exodus and would put his laws into the people's minds and hearts. ancient-roots-of-life-54 The conversation then moves into Acts 15 and the dispute over whether Gentile believers had to be circumcised and keep the Law of Moses.

Things get weird FAST on Episode 99 of JT’s Mix Tape.

JT, Brian and Aaron dive into the bizarre imagery showing up in modern fast-food advertising, including KFC’s ritual-themed commercial, its previous Diablo collaboration and Taco Bell’s not-so-subtle Illuminati marketing. Then we head even deeper down the rabbit hole.

Why does modern architecture feel so different from the incredible buildings of the past? What’s going on with a mysterious mushroom that reportedly causes people to see tiny humanoid figures? Why might Thomas Edison’s talking doll be one of the creepiest toys ever created?

And eventually we get to where everything seems to be heading: AI, transhumanism, surveillance and HUMANOID ROBOTS.From Burning Man symbolism and creepy old commercials to demon mushrooms, strange history and humans literally fighting robots,

What happened when Christ descended into Hades?

In Episode 53 of Ancient Roots of Life & Wellness, JT and Josh continue their journey through the Gospel of Nicodemus / Acts of Pilate, including one of its most incredible scenes: Hades rebuking Satan for bringing Jesus to the cross — just before the Lord of Glory enters the underworld and leads the righteous out.

But first, we dive deep into the Septuagint version of Daniel and some striking connections between Daniel and Revelation. Why does Daniel describe Nebuchadnezzar's statue as an “image”? Is Daniel 3 providing a pattern for understanding the image of the beast in Revelation 13? Could Nero and his enormous imperial image help illuminate the prophecy? And what do 666 and the textual variant 616 have to do with Nero Caesar?

Then we return to the Gospel of Nicodemus as Christ breaks the power of death, takes Adam by the hand, and leads the saints from Hades.

In this episode:Daniel in the Septuagint • Nebuchadnezzar's image • Daniel and Revelation • the image of the beast • Nero • 666 and 616 • Roman emperor worship • the mark of the beast • Revelation 13 • Hades and Satan • Gospel of Nicodemus • Acts of Pilate • Christ's descent into Hades • Adam • the Harrowing of Hell • biblical prophecy • Septuagint vs. Masoretic Text

This episode of JT’s Mix Tape goes everywhere — from politicians being treated like puppets and the rise of AI-powered killer robots to hidden oil beneath Los Angeles, Old World architecture, strange energy technology, and the stories we’ve been told about the past.

But eventually the conversation turns inward.

Why are so many people being taught to define themselves by their trauma? Did modern psychology take a wrong turn by teaching us to constantly look backward? We dig into Freud vs. Adler, therapy culture, emotional manipulation, identity, purpose, and the difference between endlessly analyzing the old you and actually becoming someone new.

From Johnny Five and Skynet to ancient buildings, petroleum, psychology and the words of Christ — somehow it all connects.

Welcome to JT’s Mix Tape Episode 98.

Topics include: AI & killer robots • data centers • Old World architecture • Australia’s mysterious history • oil & petroleum • psychology • Freud vs. Adler • trauma • identity • therapy culture • spiritual warfare • purpose • becoming a new creation in Christ
