A very spooky-wooky episode of Juan's World. Cover art by Katherine Fox A message from beremarkable: We want to encourage adults and youth on social media to submit a hand written letter to beremarkable.org and or record and upload a video on 10/10 (World Mental Health Awareness Day) with a message to our youth and others who may have a mental illness (anxiety, depression, bi-polar,etc) or have experienced a loved one who has a mental illness ("MI") - words of encouragement , enlightenment or more. We want to flood social media with a message to those that may need to hear it most and to help de-stigmatize "Mental illness". For each video we would ask people to use the tags @BeRemarkable #MIStory #mentalhealthawareness #Beremarkable *It is important that no one name drops or reveals the identity of anyone other than themselves who may have a mental illness - to respect privacy of others (it is not required that you have a mental illness , if you do you do not have to say what it is, and it not required that you speak about someone having a mental illness specifically) For example we do not want people to say something along the lines of "My mom has a mental illness..." or "Growing up, I had to deal with dad having bi-polar". Please use anonymous descriptors such as "a loved one" of "a family member" "they" "this person" , etc. We want to do our best to spread the word, so please feel free to pass this message and mission along to your peers. Thank you for your support!
