  • Graham and Charlotte Webb – 10 years of the Jubilee Centre
Guest speakers Graham and Charlotte Webb of Jubilee Church Liverpool on 10 years of the Jubilee Centre.
Jubilee Church Wirral planted out from Jubilee Church Liverpool in 2003, meeting first in the Overton Community Centre and then Overchurch Junior School, before buying the former All Saints Church in 2013.

After a lot of work, we opened it as The Jubilee Centre and started meeting here in Spring 2013, holding our official grand public opening on Sunday June 2nd 2013.

On Sunday June 4th 2023, we held a special meeting at the centre, celebrating God’s goodness and faithfulness.

  • Chris Griffiths – Salt of the Earth
Chris on being the salt of the earth and what that means
Chris urges us to ask ourselves how salty we are and breaks the challenge of being salty down into three areas: Baptism, Prayer and Fellowship.

Jesus was baptised, spent a lot of time in prayer and also spent a lot of time in fellowship with the disciples. If it was good enough for Jesus, shouldn’t it be good enough for us?

    • What do we need to do to emulate them?
    • Chris talks about how Jesus taught his disciples to teach others the same things he taught them, how we are still on the same assignment today and how the Bible is a training manual to help us to do that.

    • Dave Frodsham – Who is Jesus? He is God!
Dave starts a new series: ‘Who is Jesus?’
In his first message, entitled ‘He is God!’, Dave looks at John 1: 1-8.
Dave challenges us to answer questions including ‘Why does it matter?’ and ‘Why should I follow him?’
By saying that he and God are one and the same, Jesus only gives us three options – that he is a liar, a lunatic, or Lord. Which do you believe?
