We can live the Christian life like a weathervane, being blown in different directions depending on culture and current thinking. Or we can be a signpost, pointing to a better way.

Continuing the Revolution series, Rodney looks at how Christians are to relate to both a kind or a harsh boss at work. When things get difficult Jesus is our model of how to respond to injustice, not just in the workplace but in life in general. 1 Peter tells us that we are called to follow in His footsteps as we entrust ourselves and the situation to God.

How does a church like Jubilee engage with a world that doesn't know the true God?

Angela reminds us who we are in God and that we can be a blessing to the world. God loves the world so much he is stirring His church again. ‘It is time for the church to take back the roar of the Lion of Judah.’

1 Peter 2: 1-5 challenges us not to settle but to get hungry for God and build a community which God fills with His Spirit.

What does Peter mean when he says 'Christians should be Holy because God is Holy'? Having given up our former way of life and having embraced our new identity as Children of Obedience, we are being made more and more like God as we learn to live out our new nature characterised by Holiness. The first fruit of this is to grow in love for one another and demonstrate to the world this new revolutionary community of God.

The revolution that Jesus brought about was a completely fresh start and the continuation of a story that started at the beginning of time. What is that story and how does Jesus confirm the prophetic witness and confound the expectations of his contemporaries?

Peter expects that people who are part of Jesus' revolution have certain characteristics. Alex looks at verses from the Bible that detail some of these characteristics for us.

Baptism is a revolutionary decision which declares that you are following a new King – Jesus. People have joined the revolution even when it meant certain death if caught, so what motivates such people? Peter gives us an insight into this as he describes a love and a trust that we put in Jesus, even though we haven't seen Him. He also talks about a joy and a glory as if we are in the very presence of God Himself.

Because of God's mercy, a revolution has begun.
