We were created to be with God, to be in his presence. Mark looks at what we mean by such phrases as 'God was here today,let us seek his face,.... ' Does this mean God is sometimes with us and sometimes he isn't?

How far should we identify with our culture around us to reach our culture? How far do we go, to be like the people we want to reach. Paul skilfully answers this question for the Corinthian Church by tackling their questions about meat sacrificed to idols. And so in this talk Rodney takes us on a journey through 1 Corinthians 8, 9 and 10, using the principals that Paul uses, to teach about how far relate to the people around you - in order to win them for Christ

Colin looks at, amongst other things, marriage, being single, and wealth in the context of the fact that this world is passing away.

Martin looks at what marriage is and covers many aspects of marriage that Paul addresses in this chapter and what issues we, the church, face in these days.

Pete looks at our need to understand who we are and what we are about. Once understood it will transform our lives and the world we live in.

What do we do when we find the world having more influence on the church than the church is having in the world? Paul passes judgement well on the church by calling sin what it is. He asks us to remember who we are.... We are to be a counter cultural community bringing transformation to the world we live in rather than being a reflection of it.

God's plan for the earth is to spread his rule and authority through families. The Church is now God's new family on earth and so we are to relate to one another on this basis. In the continuing series on 1 Corinthians, Rodney looks at the Fatherly way in which Paul relates to the Church in Corinth. He challenges the more institutional model in the UK based on geography, in favour of the bible's more relational model of oversight.

The church at Corinth was suffering from a number of divisive issues. Colin examines the cause of these divisions and how these issues can infiltrate the church today.
