You are listening to Search the Scriptures Daily, a program in which we encourage everyone who desires to know God’s truth to look to God’s Word for all that is essential for salvation and living one’s life in a way that is pleasing to Him. Dave, last week we said that this was our concluding program, but here we are again. But this time I honestly believe that we will conclude this, but we’ll see. We are going through—if you are a new listener to our program—we are going through Dave Hunt’s book, Judgment Day, Islam, Israel and the Nations, and we’ve been
Dave, last week we said that we were getting very close to Armageddon, and I don’t know if that got anybody out there excited, but I think you’d better spell it out exactly what you meant by that.
Dave: Well, of course, we are at least seven years away, from my understanding. A pre-Trib Rapture…so the Rapture will occur first, take the true Christians out of here…
Tom: Which is imminent, could happen at any time.

If you’re a new listener to our program, in this first segment, which we call our feature article, we’ve been going through Dave Hunt’s latest book Judgment Day! Islam, Israel, and the Nations, and we’re currently in the last chapter, and we may look at an appendix or two before we finish, Dave. But last week, you went over the Battle of Armageddon, which the Bible prophesies will indeed take place. Can you reiterate for our new listeners at what point in history it will take place, and just some background information about it?

In this first segment of our program, Dave and I will be discussing his latest book Judgment Day! Islam, Israel, and the Nations, and right now we are in the last chapter, chapter 15.
And, Dave, you begin chapter 15 by stating that Israel will not go down to destruction without using its ultimate weapons, meaning nuclear armed missiles. And you say this is related to the battle of Armageddon, which the Bible prophesies will take place. Can tell us how this is developing and at what point Armageddon will take place? But again, prior to that, what about Israel, you know?

In this first segment of our program, Dave and I will be discussing his latest book Judgment Day! Islam, Israel, and the Nations, and we’re heading for the finish line as we begin the last chapter, chapter 15. And, Dave, it’s not as though we’ve been dragging our feet or anything, but since the time we started you’ve managed to complete a second edition, which is definitely an expanded version, so what have you added?

We are and have been discussing Dave Hunt’s latest book Judgment Day! Islam, Israel, and the Nations. That’s what we’ve been doing, Dave, as you know, for almost 24 weeks now in this first segment of our program.
Dave, you end chapter 13 by giving what you call “Hopeful Signs among Muslims Related to Terrorism.” Now, that comes after chapter after chapter of things that gravely concern us about what takes place in Islam. But now, what are these hopeful signs, and in what way do you think they are truly hopeful?
Tom: Thanks, Gary. Dave, as you know, for the last two weeks we discussed the critical distinctions between Roman Catholicism and biblical Christianity, and following that discussion we need to address the differences between Islam and biblical Christianity, especially regarding salvation. So let’s begin with your chapter title: “How, or on What Basis, and to Whom Does the God of the Bible Offer Salvation?”
Dave: Yeah, Tom, it’s a good question. It’s a logical question. The fact is that we have broken God’s laws; everybody knows that. You break the laws of the state, and you can’t tell the judge, “Well, let me off this time and from now on I’ll never break the law again.”
